Established in 1929, Los Angeles City College is home to one of the most vibrant and diverse campuses in the country. Located minutes from Hollywood and neighboring Silver Lake and Echo Park, the campus provides a wide range of degree programs at a fraction of the cost of state and private colleges. LACC is ranked in the top three Best Southern California Community Colleges by USA Today News.

LACC is a regionally accredited community college offering a wide range of academic programs, including Associate Degrees for Transfer (ADT). Many of LACC's students successfully complete their Associate Degrees and go on to transfer to prestigious four-year universities such as UC campuses (UCLA, UC Berkeley, UC San Diego), CSU campuses (Cal Poly, CSU Northridge, CSU Long Beach), and private institutions like USC, Loyola Marymount, and Pepperdine.
At LACC, students have the opportunity to transfer to private universities in as little as one year, or to UC and CSU schools in as little as two years. Students can complete their first and second years at LACC, then finish their third and fourth years at a university to earn a Bachelor's Degree.
LACC boasts a highly diverse student body, reflecting the vibrant culture of the greater Los Angeles area. Our campus is also located near many iconic landmarks, providing a dynamic and engaging environment for students.
