A Vibrant and Diverse Campus
LACC is one of the most established community colleges in California and the original campus of UCLA. It is located in the heart of Hollywood and the college facilities include performing arts theaters, music halls, TV and film studios, a library, art gallery, gyms, dining options, and more. Everything you need can be found on campus!
Sports, Clubs, and Intramurals
The Associate Student Government and International Students Program sponsors a mix of academic and extracurricular events for students to get to know the city and socialize with each other. Offerings include campus events, workshops, newsletters, recognition ceremonies, and Town Hall Thursdays.
Living in LA and Getting to Campus
Students can find co-living housing, home stays, apartments, and room rentals near the college. LACC is also accessible through public transportation by bus or metro. The Red Line Metro has a station at LACC, and all students receive a TAP card allowing them free commutes on the Bus or Metro system.
But students don't just stay on campus - with all of Los Angeles as your backyard and neighboring locations like Santa Monica Pier and Malibu, you can take advantage of the best of California. You can find hiking trails, national parks, beaches, skateboarding parks and more with a short metro ride.
